Joint Care

To help you prepare as well as possible, we have developed the JOINT CARE Pathway. Through this pathway, you will be well informed and screened in advance, so that both you and the hospital care team are optimally prepared for your surgery and rehabilitation.

Approximately two weeks before your surgery, you will come to the hospital and be seen by several healthcare professionals. Before these appointments, we ask you to prepare your medical file via mijn.azdelta.be and the Patient Journey App. During these appointments, your online questionnaires will be checked for completeness, so that the information can be forwarded to the anaesthetist. You will also receive information about your rehabilitation after surgery. This entire process will take a maximum of two hours. All of this is done to ensure that you and your surgery are prepared as well as possible.
